the Otherist
I've been busy with paper cutting today. Found this Japanese paper diorama at my all time favorite gift shop the Otherist in Amsterdam. This is where my heart always starts pounding way to fast, screaming: I want it all!!!
The egg is a wild duck egg, which my mum gave to me for easter, when we were at an egg fair. It is cut with a dentist drill by the belgium artist Frieda Vaes, and I just love the egg colour and it's fragility. Thanks Mum!!!

Loveletter
Today he came back from school with this drawing. A girl gave it to him. It's his first love letter ever! To bad he couldn't remember which girl gave it to him ;)
It reminded me of my first loveletters, which I keep savely in my peanuts lunchbox from kindergarten.

Hungry bear
This morning the Mail arrived!!!
A lovely package from Singapore with the hungry bear necklage that I ordered at Lazy Jane. I really love her handmade jewellery, especially her hungry bear necklace.(But also the bracelets etc. etc....Just too much!) And to my big surprise she also added a really nice button! Thank you Dear Lazy Jane, the happy vibes are all over the place! ;D
P.s She also has a really nice blog. Go check it out!

busytime
It's been a busy but great weekend. I've finished some new babyblankets for my friend's store (top photo and yellow blanket photo), I've been to the casino for the first time, and got stuck at the blackjack table (won 70 Euros bot lost it again, buhhh!), went to Amsterdam and bought some lovely beads (love the owl!) and went to one of my favorite shops where i've bought the plastic girl with rabbit...
And today this lovely little girl Vita surprised us with her visit.

button candy
Today it was button day. Over the years I've collected quite a few of them, lot's from old ladies who gave them to me when I had my tailor-shop, and lots that I've collected on my travels for KLM. I don't know why I like them so much, perhaps because they remind me of candy...
