Japan again
Found some great Japanese children books, again (almost too embarrassed to say)at our local thrift store. I also found the glass there for the Maximonster. I'm about to become a thrift store junkie!!!

Thrift store treasures (2)
Found these vintage key holders today!!! Ànd the lovely gnome necklace. For only 20 cents each...The plastic pot was an earlier find at my beloved thrift store.

Icecream, lammetjes and pirates...
Spring is here; we ate a smurfen icecream, patted the sweet little lambs and then Max and his friend Daan became dangerous pirates at the fort...Pffff...the weekend is always way too short!
Kokeshi and crochet
We went to a bric-a-brac today where I found these lovely Japanese Kokeshi dolls. They are vintage dolls (I think from the fifties) who can nodd their heads! I instantly fell in love with them the moment I saw them (I even forgot to bargain)!!
I also found these two funny little fellows and again, couldn't resist.
I've started to crochet this weekend, and now I'm a little bit hooked...
